South Platte 20" Rainbow caught on red San Juan worm by Larry near Deckers, CO about 12/31/05. Larry said that he caught a 18" and a 17" rainbow and many smaller bows and browns. Browns on a bead head pheasant tail.

10 year old girl with her first trout on South Platte near Deckers, CO on 4/16/05. Here is the neat part. She built the fly rod that she used to catch this fine brown. Her father was just teaching her nymphing and dead drifting. (Now all you guys out there. If a 10 year old can build a rod and catch fish this size, why can't you do the same? I also saw the fly rod she built and it was a beauty. Editor)

"Bones" with a San Juan rainbow 2004. "Bones" was nicknamed for his love of pork spareribs. Ah for the days when he would bring a batch to the Alpine Angler in Aurora to share with Bill the owner and whoever else was tying flies or working on a rod after hours.
