Fly Casting is often one of the most difficult parts of fly fishing to learn for beginners. Even if a beginner learns to cast correctly, bad habits may be learned over the years.  Bad fly casting habits which will affect your presentation to a fish.  Proper casting technique will greatly increase your ability to present your flies within the square yard or even a couple of inches necessary to catch the big one.

Lefty Kreh is regarded as the world's foremost expert on fly fishing.  Lefty has authored over 20 books on the subject.  He has spent numerous hours casting and fishing. Lefty Kreh is also considered an expert caster.  Lefty's book on "Solving Fly Casting Problems" is available below.   

You should pay special attention to "Trouble Shooting the Cast" by Ed Jaworowski, Harry W. Robertson (Illustrator).  When expert Lefty Kreh says that Ed can solve your casting problems, you need to pay attention.

Joan Wulff, wife of famous flyfisher Lee Wulff, has published several books and a fly fishing and casting DVD. Joan Wulff is considered one of the best fly casters for the last 100 years Lefty Kreh not withstanding.
