BookmarkOur Micro Pliers come in two models. The 4 1/2 inch model has spring openers to keep the jaws open for easy gripping of an object. The jaws are smooth with a spike on one jaw to open split shot. These are great for mashing barbs on hooks or any other small job requiring precision work. Editor Note: I use this type micro plier for putting beads on hooks for bead head flies and for mashing barbs on the hooks before I tie the fly.
The 5 inch micro plier has plastic coated handles for a secure grip. This model does not have any spring opener.
