 The rod series start with the ultra light "000" and run up to a 4 wt. Rod lengths start at 6 ft 10 inch and got to 7 ft 10 in. All TXL-F fly rods are 4 piece for easy travel and backpack in.

The key to better casting is the ability to feel the rod load. Sage Launch Fly Rods, developed with G5 technology, have a smooth progressive power curve and a high strength to weight ratio. The progressive power curve offers a forgiving feel when the rod loads, allowing the angler to cast more intutively and easily. The Sage Launch rod blank is a rich golden color. The cork grip is western style with cutout. The reel seat is anodized aluminum with a wood insert and a single uplocking ring. There are 10 rod guides not counting the lined stripper guide on the nine foot rods for sale. (An older guide to a good rod is there should be at least one more guide than the number of rod feet.)

Condition of Sale Rods:

These rods are demo rods. I have inspected all rods for sale. The cork grips show the normal pitting that occurs during manufacturing. There are no dents, cuts or other defects in the cork. There is slight hand soil on some of the grips but very little. All blanks are scratch free.

I only have one 4 pc rod sock for the 4 pc rods and 2 pc socks for all the rest. I did not receive these rods with Sage rod tubes. I am including another brand I carry. These tubes are the Cordura covered rigid tube with a padded zipper top and an interior sock. Tube color is Green.

NOTICE: I will not ship rods without a rod tube as there is too much chance of breakage.  The rod tube is included in the price and is considerably less expensive than Sage tubes.
