Halycon Fly Reel Review

The Halycon Fly Reel by Stone Creek is named for the famed Greek fly fisher. Machined from areospace bar stock aluminum, this large arbor reel has a dependable sealed disc drag system and 3 stainless spindle bearings for years of maintenance free operation. The arbor width on the Halcyon allows for a very generous amount of 20 lb braided dacron backing. Highly ported to reduce weight, the reel spool is finished in an attractive anodized gold finish and the reel frame is black.
