Fly Fishing Colorado

I know this is a fly fishing blog.  But tonight is about baseball in Denver, CO.  The Rockies sweep the playoff series against the Phillies. 

This is the first time in franchise history that we have won a playoff series.  And it has been twelve years since the Rockies made it to the playoffs.

Tonight’s hero was Jeff Baker who hit a single in the eighth inning to drive in the winning run.  This was with 2 outs as well. The wind was blowing and gusting fiercely all night. this was a game won on singles and doubles to drive in runs.

The way the Rockies have come together as a team has been a true pleasure and joy to watch.

Congratulations Rockies!
