The Site does not knowingly collect or solicit Personally Identifiable Information from or about children under 13 except as permitted by law. If we discover we have received any information from a child under 13 in violation of this policy, we will delete that information immediately. The Site encourages parents to go online with their kids. Here are a few tips to help make a child’s online experience safer:

California Online Privacy Protection Act Of 2003 (OPPA) 

This Privacy Policy intends to comply with the OPPA.  Various parts of this Privacy Policy address requirements of the act.  By using, viewing, interacting with the Site, you must assume either we or third party hyperlinked sites collect electronic information about all visitors. Usually this is not personally identifiable.  When you contact the Site via email, regular mail, telephone you agree to allow the Site to collect and archieve such personal information as you provide.  When you purchase products directly from this Website or the vendor third party Websites, you give your permission to collect and archieve personal and financial information as specified in this Privacy Policy or in any Purchase Agreement which you may electronically sign prior to purchase.

You may opt out of email lists by using the unsubscribe link in emails.  You may request removeal or other changes to your personal information maintained by this Website by using our contact form.

What Information We Collect

You must assume that any web-viewing or web-use activity is monitored, tracked, and information collected. The personal information we do collect from you are a name, email address and ip address when you use our contact us form or sign up for our free fly fishing gifts.  The free fly fishing gifts is a double opt-in list; meaning you have to respond positively to a request to join.  Both lists have a remove link on the bottom of the automatically generated responses.  We use for our list management and all personal information is maintained by them on their secure servers.


We don’t currently use cookies to track your visits to our site.  We reserve the right to use cookies and / or “web beacons” or “clear gifs” in the future. In the event we do start using cookies and / or “web beacons”, it will be to improve the site design and your visitor experience.  No personally identifiable or financial information will be collected unless you purchase products directly from

“Cookies” is web terminology for a small alphanumeric computer code placed on your hard drive.  This computer code is in the form of small text files denoted by the txt file extension in the Cookies folder. Websites use this to keep you ‘logged in’, to keep track of search criteria, to monitor website use, to password protect use of the site or improve site navigation and / or interactivity and to assist you in purchase of products from their website. does not use “Web beacons” or “clear gifs” during the visitor’s interaction with our website.  However, we reserve the right to do so in the future.  In the event, this website begins to use such transparent tracking technology, the change will be posted on the Privacy Policy.

Advertisers and ad servers that display ads on may also use cookies, as well as files called “Web beacons” or “clear gifs” to determine on an anonymous basis which advertisements and promotions our Site users have seen and how users responded to them. However, this website does not use currently use these technologies.

In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information, for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but if you do so, you may be unable to access certain portions of the site or may be asked to re-enter your information, and we may not be able to customize the site’s features according to your preferences. Also your use of our vendor sites may not function as you expect them to, web pages may not display properly or you may have problems purchasing products from them.

How We Use Your Information

When you purchase products directly from, use our contact us form, or sign up for our free gifts list, we place you on our list to receive email regarding updates about special offers, new products, and new services.   Any update notice you receive has an opt-out link at the bottom.  If you do not wish to receive email updates, simply click the opt-out link and you will be removed.  You also have the right to contact us via our contact form with the correct name and email you signed up with and request to be removed from our email lists.  We will do so.

We also do not send out tons of emails urging you to purchase products.  We don’t like spam and we assume you don’t either.  But when a good sale comes along, we do like to pass on the information to those on our list. We also send out information on ongoing weekly specials before they are advertised to our website visitors in general.

If we start an ezine again, we will notify you and you will have the opportunity to opt-in if you so desire.

Disclosure Exceptions

Notwithstanding the above policies, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to appropriate third parties if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary:

Referring Email or URLs

When or If you refer an email about the Site or send the URL(s) of one or more of the Site’s web pages to a friend(s), you must assume some information is collected about your IP address, your email address and the email address of your friend(s).  You must assume that any referred emails or web pages of the Sites will appear to come from your email.  You must assume full responsibility for referring the Site’s web pages or emails to a friend(s).  You agree to indemnify the Site for any damage whether intentional or unintentional that results from said referrals.

Information Obtained from Surveys or Polls

Spam or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email)

By providing to the Site information that forms the basis of communication with you such as a name, email address or physical address, you agree and waive all rights to file spam complaints concerning email or spam or unsolicited regular mail from the Site.  By supplying such information you agreed to receive communication from the Sites or other authorized marketing organizations. Any personal information you post on the Site’s Bulletin Boards, Public or Private Forums, Chat Rooms, Instant Messaging or Chat Software supplied is available to other forum members or parties to a Chat.  Such personal information may be used to spam you or send you other unsolicited offers.  Such “Postings” by you are beyond the control of the Site.  You agree to assume full liability for such postings and indemnify the Site for any damage or legal action brought against the Sites as a result of your Postings.

Disclosure Of Personal Information

Personal and financial information requires disclosure to your Credit Card Company, to PayPal or to third pary vendors by you for processing of payment transactions.  Third Party Companies such as web hosting or autoresponder companies like that provide technical support for the Site may need access to your name and email to assist in resolving technical problems.

In addition, from time to time as we continue to develop our business, we may sell our business, buy, merge or partner with other companies or businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets. We may also disclose your information in response to a court order, when we believe we are reasonably required to do so by law.  We may also disclose your personal information in connection with the collection of amounts you may owe to us, and/or to law enforcement authorities whenever we deem it appropriate or necessary. Disputes and Governing Law

In no case shall the Visitor, Customer, Affiliate, Wholesaler or Subscriber have the right to go to court or have a jury trial.  Visitor, Customer, Affiliate, Wholesaler or Subscriber will not have the right to engage in pre-trial discovery except as provided in the rules; you will not have the right to participate as a representative or member of any class of claimants pertaining to any claim subject to arbitration; the arbitrator’s decision will final and binding with limited rights of appeal.

The prevailing party(s) shall be reimbursed by the other party(s) for any and all costs associated with the dispute arbitration, including attorney fees, collection fees, investigation fees, travel expenses and related expenses.

Jurisdiction and Venue

If any matter concerning the arbitration shall be brought before a court of law, pre- or post-arbitration, Visitor, Customer, Affiliate, Wholesaler or Subscriber of agrees that the sole and proper jurisdiction shall be Denver, Colorado. In the event of litigation in state or federal court, it shall take place in Denver Colorado.

Governing Law

Visitor, Customer, Affiliate, Wholesaler or Subscriber of agrees that the applicable law to be applied shall, in all cases, be that of the State of Colorado
